Santio Chen is a 3D Generalist and Visual Development artist with a background in architecture. Her deepest passion is using visual language to tell stories — to design stylized worlds and characters and translate them into cohesive 3D spaces.
Her work always achieves a subtle balance: stylized, but grounded. She designs with a distinct visual voice without losing the weight and believability that makes a world feel real. It's a quality that shows up across her characters, environments, and the worlds they inhabit.
Selected for the SIGGRAPH 2024 Student Exhibition and the ASIFA-East 2024 Official Selection.
Santio loves hiking. She has encountered bears four times in Whistler and survived hypothermia in the Azores. Clearly, she is hard to stop.
